  • Online Bill Pay

We do not authorize Courtesy Pay for the following types of transactions:

  • ATM transactions.
  • Everyday debit card transactions.

What Fees are Associated with Courtesy Pay?

  • We charge a $30 fee for each overdraft/courtesy pay transaction.
  • By agreeing to have overdrafts paid by the Credit Union, you acknowledge that you have the right to revoke or change your election at any time. The change request must be provided in writing.

Can the Credit Union Authorize Courtesy Pay on ATM & Everyday Debit Card Transactions?

With Courtesy Pay, checking accounts are automatically opted-in to cover checks, automatic bill payments (ACH), and electronic bill payments, but action is required by the member to opt-in to extend Courtesy Pay to debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals. If you wish to authorize the Credit Union to pay everyday debit and ATM transactions, you must tell us you want to opt-in. If you do not opt-in, the Credit Union may decline your transaction when you use your debit card for payment and/or ATM transactions if you do not have sufficient funds to cover the transaction.

If you want us to authorize and pay overdrafts on debit card and ATM transactions, you must complete a Courtesy Pay Opt-In form. You can also opt-in by calling us at 720.962.8200 to request the form, or completing a form at any Foothills Credit Union branch.

*Courtesy Pay has a maximum limit of $500.00. Members cannot remain overdrawn for more than 45 days. On the 46th day the credit union will begin collection procedures. Members will be alerted of fees charged for covering overdrafts. For more information about Courtesy Pay and to opt-in to this product please contact the credit union.
